RE: 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on April 12, 2014

Dear Ms. Ellis,
I am so sorry to send you this group email but I want you all to see and read it. At the same time I want to express how I feel about your PR firm B|W|R Public Relations declining our application to cover your 25th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton on April 12, 2014.

First, the invitation to apply came directly from B|W|R Public Relations and now they decline us. That is not nice to do. Anyway, I feel our outlet is been discriminated against, and the funny thing is that we live in a world that is very diverse with so many people of different backgrounds. I can assure you the words Diverse and Diversity are used in powerful speeches all over the world especially here in the USA. As I have done my research and homework on GLAAD, you also stand to help or raise awareness of a big population as we do. But we are not just serving one group; we are serving and working with all regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, etc.

I would like you or your staff to contact the B|W|R Public Relations PR firm and tell them about this complaint and to issue an apology to me and my team that we are proud of the work GLAAD does and we honor your organization but we would not tolerate or accept discrimination.

So, please let me know what will happen, and clear the air because this is pure discrimination from an organization like yours that is supposed to be fighting human discrimination in the USA but all over the world.
I am so sorry to come to you this way, but I know for fact that the PR firm BWR Public Relations in the past has been hard to work with and has approved other outlets that do not even publish their content. They need to learn about mainstream media like us, Diversity News Magazine, and all the masses that we are reaching not only through diversitynewsmagazine.org, our parent company site http://diversitynewspublications.com/ but also via our Youtube channels at http://youtube.com/diversitynews, https://www.youtube.com/user/diversitynewstv,
https://www.youtube.com/user/DNTVBloopersour Blip TV at http://blip.tv/diversity-news-tv, our online radio show at http://diversitynewsradio.diversitynewspublications.com/, my own personal website/blog at
http://stevenescobar.diversitynewspublications.com/ and oh course our social media such Facebook fanpage at https://www.facebook.com/DiversityNewsMagazine, Instagram: http://instagram.com/diversitynewsmagazine,
Twitter at https://twitter.com/diversitynewsee, Pinterest at http://www.pinterest.com/diversitynews/, Tumbler at http://dispatchusa.tumblr.com/ and the list goes on.
If those masses are not important for your organization, then you have the wrong mission and purpose, and are in the wrong business of not helping our community.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me any time directly at 213-321-9408 or 818-787-1249 or reply to all the emails; they get forwarded to my iphone.
Please be aware that I have cc'ed some people and I would not want to get them involved, so I hope this matter will be resolved as soon as possible by you communicating with your PR firm B|W|R Public Relations. I sincerely wish to hear back from you soon,

Sincerely,

Esteban Escobar, President & and Executive Editor-In-Chief
